The Sri Guru Granth Sahib is enshrined in the Palki Sahib on the marble throne in the middle. There is a circumambulation path all around. The guest house is being run by the Gurudwara Management Committee, which has 180 rooms and 5 big halls. Here langar is served free of cost for 24 hours. All other Guru Nanak Jayanti and birth anniversaries of all the ten Gurus are celebrated. All the festivals are organized enthusiastically by the Gurdwara Management Committee. The Gurudwara opens at 4 in the morning and closes at 11 in the night. In normal days, about 3 to 4 thousand devotees come here for darshan, about 10 to 20 thousand on Sundays and about three to four lakhs on every full moon day and about 70-80 lakh devotees in the whole year.
