Gurudwara Sach Khand stands quietly amidst the fields, about one kilometer from Gurudwara Sachcha Sauda, across the railway line. This sacred site is associated with an important event from Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s journey.

It was here that Bhai Mardana, feeling hungry, mentioned his need for food. At that moment, a group of donkeys carrying loads passed by. Guru Nanak Dev Ji instructed Bhai Mardana to ask the merchant about the contents of the bags. When asked, the merchant deceitfully replied, “Only sand.” Guru Sahib then remarked, “Very well, let it be sand.”

Alarmed by the saint’s words, the merchant checked his bags and was shocked to find sand inside. Frightened and remorseful, he rushed to Guru Sahib and fell at his feet. He confessed, “Sire, it was actually sugar.” Guru Nanak Dev Ji responded, “If it was sugar, then sugar it shall be.” Upon rechecking, the merchant found that the sand had turned back into sugar. Deeply moved, he bowed before Guru Sahib and offered the sugar as a humble gesture.

Today, a beautiful Gurudwara with a dome marks this miraculous event. However, the condition of the shrine has deteriorated over time. Without timely maintenance and restoration, this sacred monument risks fading into history.

By Car: Chuhrkana is easily accessible by car via local roads from cities like Sheikhupura and Lahore. The Gurudwara is located around 1 km from Gurudwara Sachcha Sauda and can be reached by crossing the nearby railway line.
By Train: The nearest railway station is in Farooqabad or Sheikhupura. From there, you can hire a local taxi or rickshaw to reach Chuhrkana and the Gurudwara.
By Bus: Buses and local transport services run regularly from nearby cities like Lahore and Gujranwala. Once you reach Chuhrkana, take a short ride by rickshaw or taxi to the Gurudwara.
By Air: The nearest airport is Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore, approximately 65 km away. Taxis or cabs are available from the airport to Chuhrkana.
