Gurudwara Panjvin and Chhevin Patshahi, Nankana Sahib
Both of these historical shrines, Gurudwara Panjvin and Chhevin Patshahi are located near Gurudwara Tambu Sahib, on the road leading to Janamasthan Nankana Sahib. The shrine dedicated to Guru Arjan Dev Ji is simple and built without a dome, while the shrine of the sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji—revered as the Patshah of Meeri-Peeri—features a dome. Both shrines share a common boundary wall.
Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji visited Nankana Sahib in the month of Har, Samvat 1670 (1613 AD), while returning from Kashmir. In memory of this visit, his followers established a Gur Mela at the exact spot where he had rested. Thirteen ghumaon (traditional units) of land were endowed for the maintenance and preservation of this sacred site.
The tree under which Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji had stayed has since withered, but a preserved piece of it is displayed in a glass case within the domed shrine. It remains an object of deep reverence for visiting sangat, who draw spiritual solace from it.
Currently, no daily Prakash (scriptural recitation or formal service) takes place at these shrines. However, the original structures still stand, and they continue to be visited by pilgrims seeking blessings and a connection to this important chapter in Sikh history.
