Gurudwara Garh Fateh Shah Distt-Jhang

Gurudwara Garh Fateh Shah is situated in the village of Garh Fateh Shah, located about 3 km northeast of the Chiniot–Jhang road in Pakistan. Visitors can reach the village by local means of transport, including tongas (horse-drawn carts). The village is named after the revered Sufi saint Hazrat Fatela Ali Shah, whose tomb lies just south of the settlement.

A Gurudwara was established within the village to commemorate historic Sikh presence in the area. However, after the partition in 1947, the building remained abandoned until 1990. It was then converted into a mosque, with minarets added to the original structure. Today, it is known as “Jamia Chishtia Nizamia,” although many locals still refer to it as “Gurdware Wali Maseet,” preserving the memory of its Sikh origins.
