Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Nauvin Patshahi – Chhota Mirzapur

Gurudwara Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Nauvin Patshahi is located in the village of Chhota Mirzapur in Mirzapur district, midway between Ahraura and Varanasi on the Varanasi–Robertsganj road. It lies about four kilometres north of Ahraura Road railway station. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited this place while traveling from Ahraura to Benaras. According to local tradition, Guru Gobind Singh Ji—then Sahibzada Gobind Das—also halted here on his journey from Patna Sahib to Punjab.

The Gurdwara commemorating their visit is named after Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. The current structure, built in the 1980s, spans a plinth area of approximately 28 by 21 metres. Although there is only one native Sikh family in the village, led by Sardar Musa Singh, the construction and upkeep of the Gurdwara have been supported by generous contributions from Sikh transporters traveling through the area, as well as from Sikh and non-Sikh devotees, particularly from nearby Varanasi.
