Gurudwara Tambu Sahib

Gurudwara Tambu Sahib in Nankana Sahib marks the place where Guru Nanak Dev Ji, after spending money meant for trade to feed hungry ascetics, hid under a large van tree to avoid his father’s anger. The tree’s drooping branches resembled a tent, giving the Gurudwara its name. This sacred site stands as a tribute to Guru Ji’s message of true seva, with its domed sanctum and deep historical reverence. Located just a kilometer from Gurudwara Janam Asthan, it is a place where devotees proudly pay their respects.

Gurudwara Kodhiwala Ghat Sahib Village Babapur

Gurudwara Korhiwala Ghat Sahib is linked to Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s third Udasi in 1514 AD. Rejected by villagers, Guru Ji spent the night at a leper’s hut, offering solace through kirtan. With Guru Ji’s blessings, the leper bathed in a nearby pond and was miraculously cured. Witnessing this, the villagers sought forgiveness, and Guru Ji advised them to build a rest house for travelers. Today, the gurudwara stands at this sacred site, managed by the Karsewa organization, with grand celebrations for Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s birthday and Baisakhi.
