Located near Lahore, Gurudwara Bhai Pheru honors the devotion of Bhai Pheru, once Sangtia, who experienced a divine miracle and became a Sikh leader. Guru Gobind Singh Ji later titled him “Sachchi Dahri” for his honesty. Though once a grand site, the Gurudwara now lies in ruins, yet remains a symbol of Sikh heritage.
Gurudwara Akalgarh Sahib, located in village Gharuan on the Chandigarh–Ludhiana Road, marks the sacred visits of Guru Har Rai Ji and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji. Guru Har Rai Ji inspired many locals here, leading to the establishment of a Dharamshala. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji also visited, either in 1670 or during his journey to Delhi in 1675. After facing indifference from priests, Guruji chose to stay under a grove outside the village, where he was served with devotion by a carpenter named Balap Ram. The Gurudwara stands today as a tribute to these historic events.
