Gurudwara Kala Mala Sahib
Gurudwara Kala Mala Sahib is regarded as an ancient and revered religious site in Barnala city. It is said that this sacred place was blessed by the visit of the sixth Guru, Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji. Some people believe that Baba Sri Chand Ji, the son of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, meditated here for a long time and attained spiritual peace through deep meditation and devotion.
It is also believed that after the massacre of Kup Rohira in 1762, Baba Mati Das Ji and many other Sikhs arrived at this place. At that time, this site became a spiritual refuge for the Sikh community.
Devotees believe that bathing in the holy Sarovar of the Gurudwara cures skin diseases. Daily prayers, Kirtan and Langar are organized at the Gurudwara, while special religious gatherings are held during Gurpurabs.
