Gurudwara Sri Koohni Sahib
Gurudwara Sri Koohni Sahib, located in Bhainsa Tiba village of Mani Majra, is a sacred site associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji. Just about a kilometer away from the famous Mata Mansa Devi Mandir, this Gurudwara holds deep historical and spiritual significance.
According to tradition, Guru Gobind Singh Ji visited this place in 1746 Bikrami (1689 CE) while coming from Narainpur, responding to the devotion of a Brahmin girl named Anpurna. She was a devout follower of Guru Sahib and earnestly prayed for his presence. Moved by her devotion, Guru Ji arrived here and meditated for 17 pahar (approximately 51 hours).
During his stay, Anpurna served Guru Sahib and the accompanying sangat with complete dedication. Deeply pleased by her selfless service, Guru Ji blessed her, proclaiming that a temple in her name would be built here before the Gurudwara and that anyone who visits this place with true faith and devotion will have their wishes fulfilled.
The site today reflects the spiritual unity of faiths, with both a temple and a Gurudwara standing side by side, drawing visitors from all backgrounds who come to seek blessings and peace.
