Gurudwara Paonta Sahib, located in the Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, is a revered Sikh pilgrimage site associated with Guru Gobind Singh Ji, the tenth Guru of the Sikhs. The sanctum houses the Guru Granth Sahib, along with Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s weapons, including his sword and a rare quill pen. Significant sites within the complex include Sri Talab Asthan, where Guru Ji once distributed salaries to his warriors and poets, and Sri Dastar Asthan, where turban-tying competitions were traditionally held. Adjacent to the Gurudwara, a temple dedicated to Goddess Yamuna reflects the region’s spiritual diversity.
