Gurudwara Kavi Darbar Asthan

Gurudwara Kavi Darbar Asthan is a place where Guru Gobind Singh Maharaj used to listen to poems from poets. After listening to the poetry, Guru Ji would bless the poets with gold coins and material wealth. It was here that Satguru Ji broke the ego of the poet Chandan, who had become arrogant, believing that nobody could understand the depth of his poetry. Gracefully, Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj cast his gaze upon Bhai Danna Ghahia Ji, who served the horses, to explain the meaning of the poetry. It was also here that Guru Ji ordered the Yamuna River to remain calm, and since then, the Yamuna has continued to flow in accordance with the command of Guru Sahib.
