Gurudwara Sohiana Sahib Patshahi Nauvin

    Gurudwara Sohiana Sahib Patshahi Nauvin is located in Village Sohiana, District Barnala. Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, while traveling through Malwa to share his teachings, was heading towards Village Dhaula from Nagar Handiaya. As he was on his journey, his horse suddenly stopped and refused to move forward. Recognizing the divine significance, Guru Ji released the horse and it walked towards Sohiana.

    Guru Ji stopped near a water source just outside the village and tied his horse to a tree. This tree still stands at the Gurudwara today. Close by, there is a pond (Chhapri) where Guru Ji took bath has been preserved as a Sarowar. People believe that anyone who takes a bath in the pond with true faith will have their wishes granted.
