Gurudwara Sahib Patshahi Nauvin
Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji visited this place while traveling through Ropar, Railon, and Nandpur Kalar. During his stay under a ‘ber’ tree outside the village, a couple, Mai Mari and her husband Rup Chand, approached him with a request. They wished for Guru Ji’s blessings upon their house and desired a son. Guru Ji granted their wish, blessing them with seven sons. The couple served Guru Ji with great devotion, and he stayed there for 17 days. Before leaving, Guru Ji gave an edict to Rup Chand, saying, “Whoever sees this edict shall see me.”
From here, Guru Ji continued his journey through Pamor, Bhagrana, and Patiala before proceeding toward Delhi. It is also believed that child Guru Gobind Rai stayed here for two days on his way to Anandpur Sahib while traveling from Patna. The Gurudwara Sahib premises span 3.5 acres, and the day of Puranmashi is celebrated here every month.
