Gurudwara Manji Sahib Patshahi Nauvi, Jakhwali
Gurudwara Manji Sahib Patshahi Nauvi, located in the serene village of Jakhwali, marks a sacred stop on Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji’s missionary travels. Accompanied by Mata Gujri Ji, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji arrived here from the village of Naulakha. Upon hearing the news of the Guru’s arrival, Brahmin Genda Ram, along with his family and fellow villagers, came to meet and serve them with immense devotion and dedication.
Pleased by the villagers’ unwavering faith and service, Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji bestowed a special blessing upon Jakhwali: anyone who visits this sacred place would see their generations prosper. As enduring testaments to the Guru’s visit, an old well and a venerable Banyan tree still stand within the Gurudwara Sahib premises.
