Gurudwara Gau Ghat - Ludhiana
Gurudwara Gau Ghat Sahib marks Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s visit during the early 16th century. It is believed that Nawab Jalal-ud-Din of Lodhi, who resided in a nearby fort, came to pay his respects and sought Guru Ji’s help to save the town from the Sutlej River’s erosion. Guru Ji advised him to trust the will of God and over time, the river naturally shifted away from the city. A main hall now stands at this sacred site. The Gurudwara celebrates the Prakash Divas of all Gurus, with Baisakhi observed with great devotion.
