Gurudwara Shri Bibhor Sahib in Naya Nangal marks the place where Guru Gobind Singh Ji arrived after crossing the Sutlej and blessed Saida Mallah. He stayed here for several months at the request of Raja Ratan Rai and recited Chaupai Sahib on the banks of the river. The site holds great spiritual importance and is easily accessible by road, rail and air.
Gurudwara Ghat Sahib – Nangal is a sacred site on the Sutlej River bank where Guru Gobind Singh Ji crossed by boat in 1696 CE. A humble boatman named Saida Mallah ferried the Guru with deep devotion and was blessed that twenty-one generations of his family would attain salvation. The Gurudwara commemorates this moment of divine grace and humility.
Gurudwara Garhi Sahib in Chamkaur Sahib commemorates the historic battle where Guru Gobind Singh Ji and 40 Sikhs, including his two elder sons, bravely fought against a massive Mughal force in 1705. The Gurudwara stands on the site of a fortified house used by Guru Ji during the legendary battle.
Gurudwara Shaheed Ganj Sahib in Morinda commemorates the sacrifice of Khalsa warriors who laid down their lives while avenging the betrayal and martyrdom of Mata Gujri Ji and the younger Sahibzadas. This sacred site marks the place where tensions erupted as Singhs were insulted while fetching water, leading to a fierce battle in which many attained martyrdom. The Gurudwara now stands as a symbol of justice, sacrifice and the enduring spirit of the Khalsa.
Gurudwara Shri Manji Sahib Patshahi Dasvin in Boor Majra commemorates Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s halt on December 6, 1705, while traveling to Chamkaur Sahib after evacuating Anandpur Sahib. Accompanied by the Panj Piaras and 40 Sikhs, Guru Ji rested here and used a historic well for water. Located along Guru Gobind Singh Marg, the Gurudwara is 8 km east of Chamkaur Sahib and 13 km from Ropar.
Gurudwara Kotwali Sahib in Morinda marks the site where Mata Gujri Ji and the younger Sahibzadas were imprisoned before being sent to Sirhind for martyrdom. It stands as a tribute to their courage and sacrifice during a pivotal moment in Sikh history.
Gurudwara Jand Sahib is a revered historical site near Chamkaur Sahib, marking the spot where Guru Gobind Singh Ji briefly rested under a Jand tree after the Battle of Chamkaur in 1704. This sacred Gurudwara now stands in remembrance of that moment before Guru Ji continued his journey toward Gurudwara Jhar Sahib.
At Gurudwara Sri Katalgarh Sahib, Bibi Sharan Kaur Ji bravely cremated the Sahibzadas and other martyrs, including her husband. In this act of devotion, she sacrificed her life. The Gurudwara commemorates their unmatched bravery.
