Gurudwara Mahalsar Sahib, Village Sabo Ki Talwandi

Gurudwara Mahalsar Sahib, situated 28 km southeast of Bathinda at Talwandi Sabo (Guru Ki Kashi), is an important Sikh historical site. Here, Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji trained Sikhs in horse-riding and martial arts. In 1706, during Baisakhi, Guru Ji initiated the tradition of Holla Mohalla, where Sikhs displayed their martial skills and the winners were honored with gifts, reflecting the spirit of bravery and discipline in Sikh tradition.

Gurudwara Sahib Chevi Patshahi in Nawabganj is believed to have been visited by Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji during his travels.
