Gurudwara Thara Sahib at Sakhi Sarwar in District D.G. Khan commemorates the visit of Guru Nanak Dev Ji during his travels from Dera Ismail Khan. The sacred spot where he stayed lies inside the compound of Hazrat Sakhi Sarwar’s tomb, between the mosque and the mazar. Though a fair is held here annually, no recitation of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji takes place. Due to lack of clear signposting, visitors are advised to seek local guidance to locate the site, which is not widely known even among residents.

A school now functions inside the premises, and the local Sikh Sangat has filed a legal case to reclaim full possession of the site.
