Gurudwara Sri Kotha Sahib is located in Vallah village near Amritsar. It commemorates the stay of Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib Ji, who spent seventeen days in the humble mud house of a devoted Sikh woman, Mai Haro. Here, Guru Ji blessed the women of the Amritsar sangat with the words “Maiyaan Rabb Rajaian.” The present building was rebuilt after the 1905 earthquake, and a grand fair is held every year on the full moon day of the month of Magh.
